Joshua B. Roye
Founder and Principal Attorney at The Roye Firm
Joshua is a fierce legal advocate dedicated to providing professional and competent legal services to his clients at fair rates. Joshua has worked in immigration law for over half a decade and has handled thousands of immigration cases. He has vast experience in the ins and outs of this extremely dynamic field of law. Additionally, Joshua is experienced in family law, and has guided many clients through stressful and emotionally-taxing domestic relations matters, including divorce, child custody, legitimation, and child support.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Joshua developed a career in state government, working as a lobbyist in the Georgia House of Representatives, an aid for Governor Nathan Deal, and a project manager focused on city government communications. In those positions he observed the process of legislation and how seemingly minute laws affect the lives of everyday people.
Joshua was raised in Clayton County and currently lives in Douglasville with his family. When he isn’t busy defending the rights of his clients and being a cat dad, he enjoys various hobbies, from carpentry, to Brazilian jiu jitsu and electric guitar.
Joshua is admitted to practice law in the Superior, State, and Supreme Courts of Georgia Georgia, The Georgia Court of Appeals, and The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Joshua attended Georgia State University, where he earned both his Juris Doctorate and his B.S. in Economics with a minor in Spanish.
